Vaishali Gupta is an award-winning educator, author, and curriculum designer providing a unique blend of child psychology, hands-on learning, and well integrated global strategies to empower children across age groups.

As an author for several school textbooks and activity books, she provides  cutting edge approaches from the various professional programs she’s attended at Harvard’s Graduate School of Education. Overall her teaching approach is rooted in curiosity, creative thinking, and real-world connection—to empower students and teachers.

A Gold Medalist in Biology and trained in Indian Guitar, Vaishali bridges art and science with ease. In 2020, Vaishali launched One Teacher One Scientist to reimagine how children learn with a clear focus on teachers, parents, and caregivers.The pandemic helped her create SLATE, a program that brought 10,000+ marginalized children back to school with competency based learning. OTOS humbly continues to empower communities and nurtures scientific temper to build 21st-century learners.

Impact Story

Vaishali has led 5,000+ teacher workshops across India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and the Middle East—empowering educators to use inquiry-based, experiential learning.

She helped bring STEAM to India’s classrooms through her work with Oxford University Press and national teacher training events.

Her focus on Mindful Teaching—supporting emotional well-being in educators through practices like journaling, reflection, and mindfulness is reflected in OTOS, her brain child where holistic empowerment of teachers is emphasised.
